Night falls on Vaux-le-Vicomte
We went there at the end of the day to discover the new Christmas decorations andthe monumental projection on the façade of the castle on the garden side.
It is a delight to discover and re-discover the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte and its sumptuous French garden with each visit. It is without a doubt our favorite castle around Paris. A festive, supportive and bright programme this winter in Vaux!
The 360° view from the dome is extraordinary. You can discover the French gardens of André le Nôtre up to the statue of Hercules, the estate and its forests, the outbuildings on either side of the castle, the ponds, the grand canal, the old stables…
A monumental projection on the façade of the castle
Every evening, at nightfall, the spectator will attend the projection of animated images retracing the highlights of the history of Vaux-le-Vicomte! Each session lasts about 8 minutes. The images perfectly fit the façade and sublimate all the architectural details that compose it. A very beautiful sound and light!
