What is it about?

A walking tour of Paris – in the form of a puzzle game – in the Montparnasse district. It’s one of the longest routes!

Equipped with four documents composed of a logbook that explains where to go and how your walk will unfold with lots of riddles to solve, a map of the neighborhood to find your way around, a toolbox full of surprises and a notebook with solutions (but not to read?), you will walk at your own pace and advance on the route step by step, as soon as each riddle is solved! If you get stuck, don’t panic, the notebook with the solutions is there for that.

The sites crossed or featured on the route: the Montparnasse cemetery, the Montparnasse Tower, the rue de la Gaîté, the boulevard Raspail, the Jardin de Atlantique, the Place Denfert-Rochereau (formerly called “Place d’Enfer”)

Our opinion on this original walk in the 14th arrondissement

  • It’s very flexible since you can do your ride whenever you want or move it if the weather is not favorable or one of the participants is unable to do so
  • It was the district of the Roaring Twenties, of intellectuals and artistic life… Today better known for its shopping, for its cinemas, its theaters, (re)discover this district from a completely different angle with this original puzzle game
  • You can do this puzzle game at your own pace
  • It’s a nice gift to give
