- ON THE PROGRAMME : STORYTELLING TOURS, WORKSHOPS, GUIDED TOURS, FESTIVE FAMILY SUNDAY
- ACCESS TO THE MUSEUM: access to the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions is at the rate of €14 (reduced rate €11); free for under 18s and under 26s who are residents of the European Union. The activities are at the rate of 16€ (reduced rate 8€); Access to the museum is included in the activity ticket

During the spring holidays, the Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac Museum offers many activities for families. They allow you to (re)discover the museum’s permanent collections.
“The World in the Family” is aimed at all children, even toddlers.
- STORYTELLING TOURS:
- For 0-3 year olds: “My little storytelling visit, mother snake” – A storyteller accompanies you for a first discovery of the museum, in stories and songs
- For 0-3 year olds: “My Little Storytelling Tour, Little Bear’s Journey” – Follow Little Bear on his journey across continents. A storyteller accompanies the children through the museum with stories and songs
- for 3-5 year olds : “Around the world” – A journey through stories and songs to awaken toddlers to the works of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas
- for 3-5 year olds : “The world in colour” – Explore, feel and perceive the collections in a different way, through shapes and colours, in song and music
- for ages 6 and up : “Africa” – From the heart of the Sahara to the tip of Cape Town, from the Atlantic Ocean to the Indian Ocean, discover the original land and meet the spirits
- for ages 6 and up : “America” – From the North Pole to the South Pole, discover the stories of young America
- for ages 6 and up : “Soothsayers and Sorcerers” – Through his stories, a storyteller reveals to children the secrets of soothsayers, sorcerers, shamans and healers from all over the world
- for ages 6 and up : “Mexica” -To the sound of myths and legends, embark on a journey through time to discover the Mexica civilization
- GUIDED TOURS:
- for 3-5 year olds : “The senses awakened” – A visit to contemplate, sing, touch and love all the art of the world
- for 3-5 year olds : “From head to toe” – A visit dedicated to toddlers, to understand the works by putting their own bodies into action!
- from 6 years old : “The animal trail” – From snake skins to pigs’ teeth, identify materials of animal origin… and find the bestiary hidden in objects from all over the world!
- from 6 years old : “The secret of the mask” – As you travel through Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas, discover masks designed with various materials and for different purposes
- from 6 years old : “Everyone has their own tastes” – Make your choice! Point out to the guide the object that intrigues you the most, and try together to discover what gives it its value, in its culture of origin and in the museum’s showcases
- from 6 years old : “On track for the games” – On the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, (re)discover the museum’s collections from a new angle, through a visit dedicated to the body, sport and surpassing oneself
- from 6 years old : “Mexica with the family” – Head to Mexico and the mythical city of Tenochtitlan for a family getaway in the footsteps of the Mexica civilization!
- THE WORKSHOPS:
- for 3-5 year olds : “The Rain” – A poetic workshop on the sounds, rites and customs related to rain!
- for 3-5 year olds : “Magic object” – Bells, pearls, shells: at the Central African wizarding school, children compose their own recipe for protection
- for 3-5 year olds : “Secret Puppets” – Wood, pig’s teeth, spider webs: fabulous puppets from Vanuatu reveal their mysteries
- for 3-5 year olds : “Arizona Dolls” – Head to the American plains for a family discovery of the Hopi culture!
- for 6+ year olds : “Trop Stylé” – Apprentice stylists? Come and draw inspiration from the heart of the museum’s collections to imagine your next collection!
- for 6+ year olds : “Mexica” – Step into the shoes of an archaeologist and discover a Mexica excavation site! Then discover the exhibition “Mexica. Gifts and Gods at the Templo Mayor”
- for 6 – 8 year olds : “At the heart of masks” – Create your own protective mask on the model of Central African artists
- from 6 years old : “Painting the dream” – Discover Aboriginal works and myths, then paint your own “dream”!
- from 6 years old : “Ghost hunters” – Ancestors, spirits, ghosts, vampires, zombies, forces from the afterlife… Go on a ghost hunt in the collections!
- for 9 – 12 year olds : “Destination music” – Discover the cultures of the world by the path of sounds!
