The Tropical Aquarium of the Golden Gate
It is one of the 3 aquariums in the Paris region with the Aquarium de Paris located at the Trocadero and the Aquarium Sea Life in the 94. The 3 aquariums are very different, the Tropical Aquarium is the oldest and it has a very charming old-fashioned side. It is great especially for its crocodile pool. Its entry price is unbeatable.
At the Tropical Aquarium, you can see…
- about 5,000 specimens, 300 species of tropical fauna and flora including magnificent corals
- 84 aquariums, a terrarium for crocodiles and alligators, and a terrarium for turtles
- tropical fish mainly from freshwater, but also from the sea, which come from Asia, Africa, and South America
- A very well designed place for the little ones. Bleachers are set up in front of all the aquariums to allow children to really see all the fish
- An aquarium installed in a magnificent building from 1931, built for the colonial exhibition. This space gives the Tropical Aquarium a very pleasant old-fashioned side
