The Parc de La Villette educational farm

There is an air of holidays in the countryside at the Parc de La Villette! Let yourself be led around the bend of the passenger gardens to a peaceful company of farm animals that come from farms committed to the preservation of species and animal welfare. An ideal moment on the weekend, free and very gentle with the little ones to meet the two friends, Quoquine and Lerminette, the two Sardinian donkeys who came to spend their retirement in Paris and the 4 ditch goats (Normandy breed) all from the same family.

The barnyard would not be complete without the 6 hens of old breeds and the siblings of adorable rabbits (known as Minilop dwarf rams and black and white butterflies) from parents raised in a close relationship with humans. Finally, the children will meet Uru and Malice, the two black sheep of Velay who ensure the eco-grazing of the park throughout the year.

The bees are also waiting for their small audience to discover the fascinating world of the hives of the Parc de La Villette

Parent-child workshops (for a fee) are offered to accompany the discovery of the world of the farm

• Presentations on the Farm in autumn take place every afternoon, adapted to all audiences, allowing young and old alike to observe the animals of this small farm with the greatest respect for their well-being
• An exploration guide and an “Easy to read and understand” booklet will accompany the visit
• The educational farm of La Villette is supported by the Adrienne and Pierre Sommer Foundation , which has been committed for 50 years to animal mediation through information, funding for field initiatives and research
