The Eiffel Tower, the emblematic monument of Paris
To be done at least once in your life :)! It is the symbolic monument of Paris, with its 324m high iron structure (including antenna). Built by Gustave Eiffel in 1887 for the 1889 Universal Exhibition, it offers an absolutely magnificent view of Paris . If you come during the holidays, remember to book your tickets in advance ! If you are in the Eiffel Tower district, you can embark on a cruise on the Seine. And if you feel like it, do the Enigma Walk “Beaugrenelle to the Eiffel Tower”, a fun Enigma game to do with family or friends (without a guide).
The Louvre, one of the most beautiful museums in the world
A magnificent museum to do and redo! More than 35,000 works on display (among the 500,000 belonging to the museum): from the Middle Ages to 1848, on ancient civilizations, on the arts of the first Christians and Islam. And major pieces such as the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace… To avoid queues, it is advisable to buy your tickets for the Louvre in advance. Tip: ❤ the guided family tours at the Louvre allow the youngest and their parents to discover the Louvre while having fun.
A cruise on the Seine, day and night
Paris is beautiful from the Seine! A walk of about 1h10 to admire the most beautiful monuments of Paris : the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay, the Grand-Palais, the Eiffel Tower, the Ile-Saint-Louis, the Conciergerie… Some cruises are specially aimed at children from 5-10 years old with the “Special Kids Cruises“. Also unmissable are lunch and dinner cruises on the Seine, for a birthday, a family celebration, an exceptional event, a Valentine’s Day…
Notre-Dame and the Île-de-la-Cité, the heart of Paris
Since the fire at Notre-Dame de Paris, access to the cathedral is no longer possible. But you can walk all around on the Ile-de-la-Cité and the Ile-Saint-Louis. It is the historic heart of Paris! Next to Notre-Dame de Paris, we also recommend a visit to the Conciergerie and the Saint-Chapelle as well as the Archaeological Crypt.
Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur, a crazy charm
We love the atmosphere, the view from the Sacré-Coeur, the café terraces, the nice little restaurants, getting lost in the alleys… On weekends, it’s a crazy crowd! But no matter, Montmartre is a place where you like to stroll. For the curious and game lovers, the Escape Games in Montmartre are TOP (❤) to learn more about the neighborhood while having fun. Also to be done with family or friends, the Montmartre Enigma Walk, very nice (without guide). And did you know that you can also find Street Art in Montmartre !
The Musée d’Orsay, an extraordinary museum
❤ ❤ ❤ It is one of our favorite museums (along with the Jacquemart André Museum). Everything is beautiful: the works on display, the architecture of the place… It is an absolutely beautiful place that hosts one of the most beautiful impressionist collections in the world! If you cross the Seine and you like museums, you will enjoy the Louvre Museum and the Musée de l’Orangerie.
The Champs-Elysées, of course
Tourists and Parisians alike walk there for pleasure or for a shopping spree. It’s one of the most beautiful avenues in the world! 2km walk from the Arc de Triomphe to the Concorde. Don’t miss the view from the Arc de Triomphe, the perspective is very beautiful (and it’s free for children).
The Palace of Versailles, a real gem
The splendour of the Palace of Versailles with its 2300 rooms and its magnificent Hall of Mirrors. The beauty of its gardens, events such as the Musical Fountains Show, the Night Fountains Show or the Royal Serenade in the Hall of Mirrors. To the west of Paris, you can also visit the Château de Malmaison and Bois-Préau and the Château de Breteuil.
