The Museum of Hunting and Nature

Don’t be fooled by its name! If you are not a hunter, not a gatherer, not a fisherman, this museum will please you!

• We love absolutely everything in this museum
• The two private mansions are magnificent, the scenography exceptional, the cabinets of curiosities fascinating, especially for children, even the youngest… It has reopened its doors after 2 years of work and the result is very beautiful!
• The woodwork, parquet floors, ironwork are superb
• Attention to detail is found throughout this museum
• You have to look up, the works also line the superb ceilings
• The museography is original , mixing old pieces and contemporary works
• Don’t venture to sit on the armchairs, small thistles will prick your buttocks (it’s so much prettier than a “No sitting” sign)

• Audios designed for children in several rooms of the museum
• It is a place full of curiosities, objects, animals of all kinds that even stuffed will not frighten them
• Help them find a little mouse on one of the museum’s baseboards trying to get out of its hole
• There is also the bear who will say “hello” to them behind his window. It’s up to them to find it!
