- There is a Batobus Rive-Droite stop, opposite the Esplanade des Invalides (Port des Champs-Elysées, Paris 8th). It’s nice and so much more pleasant than the metro or the RER
The Champs-Elysées district
Inescapable
- Walk down the Champs-Elysées towards the Place de la Concorde and stroll in front of the pretty shops and big brands that line the two alleys

- The Petit Palais : Museum of Fine Arts of the City of Paris (permanent collection free for all)
- The Palais de la Découverte (science museum): currently closed for renovation

- The Georges Pompidou Centre, a magnificent museum of 20th century art
- The Stravinsky fountain and its sculptures by Kalder and Niky de Saint-Phale
- The view of the rooftops of Paris from the 5th floor of the Beaubourg center
- Book a guided hoverboard ride (with children from 8/10 years old and TOP with teenagers). It’s fun, funny and a fun way to visit Paris
Our favorites in the Montorgueil district
- The passage of the Grand Cerf, one of our favorite passages in Paris
- The very elegant Galerie Vivienne and the pretty Place des Victoire
- Go for dinner in the evening in one of the many small restaurants on rue Montorgueil or in the surrounding streets. The atmosphere is very lively and very nice
With children
- The children’s workshop at the Georges Pompidou Centre : workshops for young people are scheduled all year round
- The Jean-sans-Peur Tower, a medieval tower in the heart of Paris, the last vestige of the hotel of the Dukes of Burgundy
- The magic shows, bluffing of the Double Fond, for 5 to 12 year olds (and their parents)
With teenagers
- Studio 13/16 at the Centre Pompidou, a place reserved for teenagers
- Original, take them in the evening to see a magic show at the Café de la Magie on Place Sainte-Catherine
- The Forum des Halles. You can find all the favorite brands of teenagers (Zara, Pull&Bear, Jennifer, Mango, Undiz to name a few)
Convenient shopping
- The Forum des Halles has been completely renovated (as has the whole district). Convenient to take refuge there if it rains and it is open on Sundays
Latin Quarter and 5th
Our favorites in this neighborhood
- The large Evolution gallery in the Jardin des Plantes (from the age of 2/3 and for the whole family). It’s one of our favorite places in Paris with kids
- The Natural History Museum, absolutely fascinating!
A must-see in the neighborhood
- A visit to the Pantheon, its illustrious tombs, its Foucault’s pendulum, a place steeped in history (free for children under 18). The view of Paris from the Coupole is one of the most beautiful views of Paris (April to October)
- Spend the day at the Jardin des Plantes and visit the Natural History Museum, the Menagerie, the Great Greenhouses and the Grande Galerie de l’Evolution
- The Arab World Institute and its temporary exhibitions
With teenagers
- An outdoor Escape Game “The Mysteries of the Latin Quarter”, to discover the district while having fun (with teenagers)
- The ” Crime of the Latin Quarter ” tour in the evening: to get to know the city at night and find the culprit. Thrills guaranteed!
