This exhibition presents the works of sculptors Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne. Their sculptures are exhibited in the gardens of the Petit Trianon, an English garden and in the Queen’s Hamlet of the Palace of Versailles
- The setting of this exhibition is sumptuous, it is a real pleasure to walk there
- We walk in the alleys, groves, along the pond, in the gardens and we discover here and there the dreamlike works of the two artists
- A fun and poetic walk for children who will have to look for and find the choupatte (by Claude, in 2016), the sheep (by François-Xavier), the very large bear (2007), the wild boar, the fish, the elephant mole or the big ( golden) apple of New York (2006)
- You will pass in front of the charming half-timbered cottages of the eighteenth century such as “The Temple of Love“, “The Queen’s House” and “The Billiard House“, “The Dovecot” building that housed poultry and pigeons (1783) and especially Marie-Antoinette’s farm
- Take advantage of this exhibition to take a tour of the farm : horses, goats, sheep, chickens… It is now managed by the Animal Assistance Foundation (the residents of the farm are rescued)
The entrance ticket allows you to visit the exhibition, the Petit Trianon, the Grand Trianon, the gardens, the Queen’s Hamlet…
