The place is magnificent : it is a former private mansion, a bourgeois residence that belonged to Edouard André and his wife Nélie
It houses a private art collection in an exceptional location
Several temporary exhibitions per year and always of high quality
In the shelter of the Boulevard Haussmann (Paris 8th), you can discover the private mansion, the courtyard, the central staircase and all the reception and exhibition rooms.

An exceptional collection

The Jacquemart-André couple were passionate and lovers of art. André and his wife Nélie have built up a collection of French, Italian, Flemish, Dutch paintings… As well as numerous sculptures, works of art and furniture.

The Jacquemart-André Museum and children

The Jacquemart André Museum offers family guided tours to introduce children to the museum’s permanent collections. There are:
The visit for 8-14 year olds: “Like princes at the Jacquemart-André museum”. This guided tour shows children the splendour of a Parisian mansion and allows them to discover in a playful way some of the masterpieces of the Jacquemart André collection. Celebrate your birthday at the Jacquemart André Museum

The Jacquemart André museum welcomes children for birthday parties

The formula for 4/6 year olds. It consists of a course of your choice:

or a fun visit and a KAPLA workshop (construction of a building according to Panini’s “Architectural Caprice”)
or a treasure hunt route: the museum’s animals
The afternoon ends with a snack at the Café Jacquemart-André (cake of your choice with candles, sweets, drinks).

The formula for 7/12 year olds, 3 formulas to choose from:

or a fun visit and a pastel copying workshop on an easel on the theme of portraiture: the children make a copy of an eighteenth-century portrait (Largillière, Fragonard, Perroneau)
or a fun visit and a pastel copying workshop on an easel on the theme of still life: the children reproduce one or more objects that are presented to them.
or a riddle hunt course: To the thief! A visit to the museum where children put themselves in the shoes of the detective
The day ends with a snack at the Jacquemart-André café (cakes with candles, sweets, drinks).

The Jacquemart-André café

It is a lovely, chic and elegant place. A covered and sheltered terrace allows you to have lunch outside when the weather is nice (menu for children). Salads, light dishes and delicious pastries. Brunch on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (children’s brunch and adult brunch). Open at night every Monday until 7 p.m. Reservations are not possible. Open Monday to Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. on Saturday.
