  • OPENING: Wednesday to Sunday only by RESERVATION
  • CLOSED : Monday and Tuesday
  • HOURS : 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. – 3 to 4 sessions per day
  • LOCATION : 11 rue de Sèvres, Paris 6th at the back of the Chantelivre children’s bookshop
  • AGE: for all up to 7 years old
  • DURATION : each session lasts 1h30 and gives access to all the spaces
  • COURSE OF A SESSION: 25 minutes of reading show with the mediators actors + exploration of the exhibition around 9 famous books
  • TARIF : Gratuit jusqu’à 6 mois
    • Ticket prices from €10 child / €8 adult
  • COFFEE BREAK : to sit down, you will find a very nice coffee corner under a glass roof

A magical place in the world of books

  • It is at the back of the famous children’s bookshop Chantelivre in the 6th arrondissement of Paris that “the house of stories” is revealed, the museum for children from 0 to 7 years old to play
  • This museum, designed to transmit a taste for reading, allows children to take over the place as they see fit
  • Jumping, running, crawling, touching… anything goes in this totally immersive and interactive place
  • It is designed for little ones to manipulate and explore their imagination
  • Enter the books to play pretend ! There are (almost) life-size sets such as a 4-meter pirate ship, Cornebidouille’s kitchen or the mouse family tree…
  • Creative workshops and musical readings with noise or play, film readings take place all year round
  • During the holidays it is also an opportunity to discover new worlds, new books and new stories.
  • A selection of books is renewed every month
  • Please note: for available sessions and you must reserve your place. Each session lasts 1h30 and gives access to all the spaces + to a reading show or a creative workshop. Some sessions are special for babies. 40 places per session.

It’s a museum to play around books. The children enter the installation around the 9 books that the children they adore. They get on the pirate ship, play in Cornebidouille’s kitchen or in the mouse family tree…
