After a short introduction and some amazing anecdotes about the creation of the Luxembourg Gardens, it’s off to an exciting treasure hunt of 1h30.

From the myth of Polyphemus (Cyclops monster son of Poseidon) to Herakles (Hercules) cleaning the Augean stables, to the Triumph of Silenus (our lecturer’s favorite), children will discover the great stories of Greco-Roman mythology while having fun.

The fabulous guide-lecturer storyteller for children (young and old), specialist in mythology, will tell them the stories of Calliope, Venus, Apollo, Chronos or the goddess Diana.

During this tour, the guide will explain to the children the emblematic monument of the garden, the famous Senate.

Prices and practical information

Price : €250 (20% increase on Sundays and public holidays)
Age : from 8 to 14 years old
Number of children : no limit but one accompanying adult is required for every 8 children
The lecturers do not supervise the children. Parents are responsible for the children
This tour is led by a tour guide specializing in young people
Weather : tours are maintained even if it rains lightly. They are cancelled if the garden is closed or in the event of a storm
Clothing : Equip children with comfortable shoes (such as sneakers). And don’t forget a bottle of water, hats and glasses if the weather is very nice
Birthday snack : if you book this fun tour for a birthday, the snack is not included in the package. If the weather is nice, we suggest you have a picnic at the Tuileries. The kids love it!
