La Coupole is a mythical name in Paris.
Opened at the end of the 20s, the “whole of Paris” artists and intellectuals frequented the establishment : Cocteau, Aragon and Elsa, Beauvoir and Sartre, Malraux, Prévert, Chagall, Picasso, Hemingway…
Today, La Coupole is a very pretty Parisian brasserie with its Art Deco interior listed as a historical heritage of France.
Its menu is classic and timeless.
It’s rather expensive, but we go there for the quality of the cuisine, the art deco décor and the ballet of the waiters, who escort the house classics from one end of the restaurant to the other.

On the plates, traditional quality cuisine.
Burgundy snails marinated in Chablis, beef fillet heart pan-fried with pepper and flambéed with Armagnac…
Dishes faithful to tradition, accompanied by homemade sauces. Timeless!
The menu has resurrected the lamb curry that made the brewery a success as early as 1927, when it was served by an Indian in ceremonial costume!
The management is trying to make the prices more accessible, with a quality formula at less than €19.50 for lunch, and is also trying to “bring back the dishes that made the Dome”.
Continuous service, 7 days a week, from noon to midnight from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive and until 11 p.m. on Sundays and Mondays.

Located under the brasserie, the dance hall of the Coupole was for years a high place of Parisian life.
After years of disuse, it has been completely renovated in the spirit of the 1930s, and it offers a musical program designed to bring back thirty-somethings and families. Tea dances on Sundays.
In addition, the Coupole offers dinner-shows for 45€ per person (consisting of a starter + main course + dessert menu) or for 20€ per person the show alone. These are cabarets, and comedians. The program changes regularly.
