An extraordinary place for children, from toddlers to teenagers

One of our favorites with children and teenagers ♡

When science is within the reach of children! The Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie is a very large museum dedicated to the understanding of science. The principle of the Cité des Sciences is to combine education, games and experimentation. It’s always very successful! A victim of its own success, it is imperative to book if you come for a weekend or during the school holidays. The Cité des Sciences includes 4 large spaces :

The ticket includes:

  • Access to the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie (permanent exhibitions)
  • temporary exhibitions (see exhibitions at the moment – “Sciences” tab)
  • Access to the Louis-Lumière and Argonaute Cinema (subject to availability)
  • Access to the Planetarium (prior reservation required)

The planetarium:

  • Breathtaking images, projected in 3D in a vast hemispherical room.
  • To pursue the dream, head for the Aeronautics and Space divisions

The Argonaut:

  • For submarine enthusiasts: visit of the Argonaute (in the park)
  • There is the aft station with the engine, the central station, the officers’ quarters, the crew berths and the tubes containing torpedoes
  • You can also listen, thanks to a touch screen, to the sounds of the deep sea, and learn to pilot a submarine on a computer

❤️ The City of Children

  • The children’s city is located in the city of Sciences
  • Two spaces dedicated to science where children manipulate, experiment, discover, play…
  • There is a course for 5/7 year olds and a course for 5/12 year olds
