An experimental space

  • An experimental space, with a surface area of 250 m², designed as a safe nest
  • It is focused on the well-being of the child. Floor, walls, games and cuddly toys: the space is voluntarily zero plastic and zero screens!
  • The Cité des Bébé lab offers a series of experiments to promote their development
  • Fun and evolving, this space is based on the know-how that has made the success of the Cité des enfants: adult-child activities,
  • The welcome is personalized and warm, to facilitate the integration of families. Armchairs and cushions are available for breastfeeding and resting. Specialized books on child psychology, education and the health of young children are freely available

The activities offered:

  • The secrets of the pod, theatrical reading with singing and puppets
  • Baby book to awaken baby to books
  • The Treasure of the Reefs, a show about the animals living in the corals. based on puppets and nursery rhymes
  • Baby signer for an introduction to non-verbal communication with toddlers
  • Play Think Talk to decipher, in the company of a speech therapist, the baby’s needs by watching him play
  • The Crapa’hutte, with a psychomotor therapist, to develop baby’s motor skills
  • The Baby City Lab is accessible free of charge without reservation to accompanied babies – within the limit of 40 places available
  • Tuesday to Friday – From 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (last entry at 12 p.m.) – until August 30, 2024 – while waiting for the move at the end of the year!
