A bit of history
- It is to the north of Paris that the Basilica of Saint-Denis is located, a magnificent building, the 1st founding work of Gothic art of the twelfth century
- It is a former royal abbey built on the tomb of Saint-Denis which houses the burials (from the twelfth to the sixteenth century) of 43 kings, 32 queens and 10 servants of the Kingdom. It houses 70 sculpted tombs
- Stroll through the basilica, admire the stained glass windows, and stroll through the beautiful ambulatory
