Tavline signifie épices en hébreu
Wooden tables and chairs, colourful cushions, cement tiles on the floor and whitewashed beams give a soft and warm atmosphere to this small restaurant on the rue du Roi de Sicile.
The starters and main courses are prepared by a chef of Moroccan origin (formerly of Ducasse). The cuisine is spicy (but not too spicy), spicy (just right) and the products are fresh. On the menu, you will find the great classics such as hummus, burnt eggplant, fish balls. The sauces are tasty and fragrant.
We tested the tasting plate (3 starters) as well as the Hatzil & Sartan (eggplant), the Moroccan cigars (very fragrant chicken with curcumin) and the roasted sweet potatoes (delicious). And we enjoyed ourselves.
On the menu, fish and or meat for the main courses and several starters, some of which are vegetarian.
