Pumpkin workshop + farm tour
On the occasion of Halloween and the All Saints’ Day holidays, the Ferme de Viltain farm in Jouy-en-Josas (78) offers pumpkin carving workshops to children from 4 to 14 years old. After choosing a pumpkin, the children will carve their pumpkin according to the theme they want: scary or not, everything will be done in joy with an attentive and patient animator. The children will leave with their work. To your social networks! For fun, you are welcome in costume, and for a beautiful souvenir photo invited to pose in the Halloween décor. Before or after the workshop, you can visit and walk around the farm, and depending on the time of day, attend the milking of the cows (between 3:45 pm and 5 pm)

17 km from Paris, the Ferme de Viltain in Jouy-en-Josas
The Viltain educational farm is a dairy farm with 350 cows that is very famous for the products from its farm. Sustainable agriculture and animal welfare make good yoghurts!
This farm has also developed a “picking on the farm” activity, attracting many families. Families flock to participate and depending on the time of production several other activities are offered (apple juice pressing, hiking, planting, etc.).
The farm can be visited every day of the year from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can walk through the milking parlour and the calf barns on a self-guided tour
Guided tours take place every Wednesday at 3 p.m. to discover the life of the cows, their diet, their reproduction, and to enjoy a good yogurt made with the milk from the morning milking
