Meet rare and extraordinary species
The Amazonia Trek universe
- The Amazonia Trek universe is the largest aviary in Europe. It covers 1 hectare and is 15 m high
- It is a fantastic space in which you can walk in the middle of 350 birds in free flight above your heads
- 17 species of parrots, Scarlet Ibises and Pink Flamingos, and other species such as Turkey vultures, Herons, Penelopes and Conures
- But it’s also the world of jaguars and giant otters!
The Patagonia Trek
- The Patagonia Trek is the second space that concentrates the world of Patagonia. It is a region far south between Chile and Argentina and where desert, forest and … the icy lands!
- You can therefore observe Humbold’s penguins, rheas of the ostrich family or cousins of the llama: the guanacos … and many more
- As a recommendation : of course, these animals, which live in a habitat close to their wild environment, should not be touched or petted under any circumstances…
- On the other hand, a smallpedagogical platform will allow children to interact more with the animals. Cameroonian sheep and Alpaca will be happy to be petted!
Parrot World with Kids
- Everything is provided on site to spend a pleasant, fun and educational moment with the family
- The park has a large playground for children
- As well as three catering areas and a sheltered picnic area
- Young and old alike will be able to take part in activities such as a treasure hunt, a carnival, workshops or special days dedicated to a particular animal
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Pets are not allowed in the park except for assistance dogs
- Wheeled vehicles (scooters, skates, rollerblades, sakateboard, and bicycles) are not allowed in the park in order to preserve the tranquility and balance of the animals
Parrot World, a park committed to the planet
- Parrot World is committed to the preservation of species and biodiversity
- Through the Parrot WorldLife Foundation , of which Jamy is the patron, awareness campaigns are organized
- The foundation is committed to the conservation of species such as the critically endangered sulphur cockatoo
- And in supporting breeding programs for the reintegration of species into their natural environment in order to prevent their disappearance if they were to disappear in the wild
What to do after the visit and around with the children?
- Take a trip to Crécy-la-Chapelle, nicknamed the “Venice of Briarde”. It is a very pretty medieval town where water is present absolutely everywhere! Around Paris, it’s the perfect place when the weather is nice !
- The must-see Disneyland Paris park located in Marne-la-Vallée.
- Walk in the magnificent park and visit the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte where children are particularly pampered
- And if it rains, go back to the SEA LIFE PARIS aquarium
