This year, Paris Plages celebrates its 22nd edition! Paris Plages is deckchairs and palm trees in the heart of the capital, along the Rives de Seine Park (from Port de Solférino to Pont Marie) with a variety of activities every day for children and adults alike... It's ideal when the weather is beautiful in Paris ! Paris Plages is an artificial beach in Paris, a true nautical base and swimming areas the Bassin de la Villette (Quai de la Seine, Quai de la Loire), Canal Saint-Martin and other locations with open-air and ephemeral pools.

The Parisian Croisette The new Paris Plage 2024 spot! For the first time, we'll be taking a dip on the Canal Saint-Martin (near Square Jacques Villemin). An ideal link between the two historic areas - opening July 6 -.

Paris Plage 2024 festivities

  • Concerts and free cultural and sporting activities for all: exhibitions, sports classes, toy library and giant games, outdoor library and children's activities.
  • More shaded, cooler areas: palm trees, mulberry trees, and new misting areas
  • Paris Plage welcomes you to the Parc des Rives de Seine (deckchairs, walks, picnics...) at La Villette and now to the banks of the Canal Saint-Martin for swimming.

  • Right bankParis Plage stretches from the Port de Solférino to the Pont Marie, with an exceptional view over the city. the Louvre where the Orsay Museum to the island Saint-Louis.
  • Dhundreds of deckchairs, parasols, palm trees and misters for a seaside atmosphere...
  • It is also playgrounds and relaxation areas canoeing and kayaking on the Seinepétanque, foosballChinese martial arts, Swedish gymnastics.....
  • For children from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. : giant games on the Georges Pompidou lane: Giant chessboards, Puissance 4, Mémory, Grand Domino, Jeu de la Grenouille...
  • Varied entertainment : with calisthenics, dance classes, pétanque and table soccer. for enthusiasts.

Paris Plage at the Bassin de la Villette

  • The basin of Villette, is located quai de Loire (metro Jaurès, Stalingrad or Laumière)
  • The basin of La Villette transforms during the summer into real free nautical base, with swimming areas and water sports: canoeing, kayak polo, stand-up paddle, pedalos, pedal bikes, small boats (for the little ones)
  • Jeux-Zoïdes with the Cafézoïde A play area and workshops for children aged 0-18 and their families.
  • Every day from 1pm to 7pm with the Ludo Plages : activities and entertainment for ages 3-7 A real Nautilus-themed beach club (submarine, zip line, climbing, slide, etc.).
  • There's even a merry-go-round set up for children of 5 to 12 years
  • And a comic library with mangas, children's series...
  • Paris Beach at the Bassin de la Villette is 4 pools of over 1600m² in various depthsand 2 paddling pools (play pools) 0.4 m depth of 100 m² for accompanied children
  • There are cabins, showers and sanitary facilities with free access, as well as changing rooms, lockers, deckchairs and parasols.
  • Decent bathing attire is mandatory
  • The supervised bathing area is limited to 500 people per day, and its water is controlled.
  • For visitors in search of refreshmentsdon't panic refreshment stands and glaciers are on hand for everyone's enjoyment
  • Warning, children under 10 must be accompanied

Don't forget your bathing cap, it's compulsory in all bathing areas, even in the Seine!
