One day per month
Paris Respire, the car-free day in Paris
It’s so rare that you have to take advantage of it: No cars, less pollution, less noise. A more peaceful city. Let’s participate in this event as a family. Bicycles, electric or non-electric scooters , and other 1, 2 or 3-wheeled vehicles are yours. Be careful, motorcycles, even electric ones, are forbidden on this car-free day.
After the success of the car-free days of previous years, cars are banned in ALL of Paris (except the ring road and woods).
Service vehicles, ambulances, buses, taxis and VTCs are allowed to drive, but at 20km/h. If you live in Paris, you can still leave Paris or return home by car but with proof of address with you. The speed limit of 20 km/h will have to be respected.
