La journée Palalympique — la fête sportive pour tous

  • 2nd edition of “Paralympic Day” after the success of last year’s
  • The party to prepare for the 2024 games in Paris
  • The Place de la République will take on the appearance of a vast sports field, and more precisely of Paralympic sports.
  • More than 100 Paralympic and Olympic athletes will be present , including American Matt Stutzman, a Paralympic archer who won a silver medal at the London 2012 Games and is known worldwide for practicing Para Archery with his legs and feet.
  • Many Para athletes from the France team will also be present throughout the day to share with you their experiences of the Games, their memories and their impressions in this last year of preparation: Viknesh Anbarasan (Blind football), David Auclair (Para shooting), Rémy Boullé (Para canoeing), Yannick Bourseaux (Para triathlon), Vincent Descousse (Para canoe), Ugo Didier (Para swimming), Manon Genest (Para athletics), Michaël Jérémiasz (Wheelchair tennis), Angélina Lanza (Para athletics), David Maillard (Wheelchair fencing), Alexandra Nouchet (Para athletics), Ronan Pallier (Para athletics), Benjamin Pillerault (sitting volleyball), Charles Rozoy (Para swimming), Loïc Vergnaud (Para cycling). Alongside them, Olympic athletes such as Alain Bernard (swimming) and Sasha Zhoya (athletics) will complete the ranks of this small team from France!
  • On the program : sports performances, demonstrations, coaching and live exploits…
  • You will be able to try out a dozen Paralympic sports : wheelchair basketball, boccia, blind football, wheelchair fencing, para athletics, para rowing, para badminton, para judo, para table tennis, para triathlon, wheelchair tennis and sitting volleyball
  • Try new experiences : wheelchair handball, wheelchair BMX (WCMX), para climbing, showdown, laser run…
  • 3 Playgrounds : To try all Paralympic sports and para sports.
  • 1 climbing wall
