A family event, free activities

The Air and Space Museum is organising a great day with free activities for the whole family. And toddlers (from 0 to 3 years old) are not forgotten! They will be able to inaugurate “Le Cocon”, a brand new sensory space specially designed to welcome babies and their parents.

The program of this great day during the Easter holidays : storytelling tours, a little story or a long journey in the winds, a participatory visit with Hélie the bat, game booklets or astrofitness in front of the Ariane rockets.

And the icing on the cake, it will be possible to enjoy Pilot Planet and the Planetarium for free on that day

Conquer the air and space, the tamarc and the rockets are yours! It is a vast program for the whole family on an exceptional historical site that opens up to us…

The activities offered are free and without reservation. For the + 26 years old, access to the museum is with a normal entrance ticket.

For children from 0 to 3 years old:

  • 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – “The Cocoon”first floor of the Hall of the Great War – The new 100% baby-friendly area: Breastfeeding area, adapted games, changing room, a real soothing bubble (free access)
  • At 10:30 am and 11:30 am – “The little story: Caroline’s balloon” – Meeting point in the Eight Columns room – With a storyteller, embark with your little one on an extraordinary adventure full of surprises and endearing characters. (duration: 45 min)

Ideal from 6 years old

  • At 2 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm- From 6 years old – Tale “Journey at the mercy of the winds” – At the media library – Breezes, gusts and sea winds come to whisper their funny stories to your ears (duration 30 min)
  • At 11 am, 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm – For 6-12 year olds Family visit: “the animals of the Air and Space” – Meeting point in the room of the Eight Columns – Keep your eyes open, animals are hiding everywhere in the collections! and take up the challenges of Heli the Bat (duration 1h30)
  • From 10:30 am to 5 pm, every half hour – From 6 years old (forbidden to children under 4 years old) – The Planetarium – To discover the sky and space: the sun and its system, the constellations and planets… (duration 30 min)
  • From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – non-stop – ideal from 6 years old – “Le Parcours d’Héli” – between the Salle des Huit Colonnes and the Médiathèque-Ludothèque – Follow Héli the little bat to discover the collections of the temporary exhibition of Playmobil toys

For all ages

  • From 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., every half hour – For all-Astrofitness” – at the level of the Ariane rockets – (retreat to the Cockade Hall in case of rain) – follow a real astronaut training to prepare for your mission and test your physical abilities in preparation for boarding! (duration 30 min)
  • From 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, every half hour – For everyone from 6 to 12 years old – Planet Pilot – 40 fun and interactive manipulations to discover the world of aviation and space – (duration 1 hour)
  • From 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. – “It’s not complicated” – At the heart of the museum’s collections, in all the halls – the why and how of a physical, chemical or biological phenomenon. The major issues of aviation and space

Children must be accompanied by an adult
