The “Monsters and Heroes of Mythology” Tour
Monsters, heroes and fantastic creatures… A narrated tour of the Louvre’s major works inspired by mythology.
- The objective of this guided and narrated tour of the Louvre Museum is to show children, in a playful way, how mythologies, particularly Greek and Mesopotamian, inspired artists to create major works.
- What could be more fascinating for children than bulls with human heads, roaring lions, snakes and demons fighting with brave warriors!
- This storytelling tour of the Louvre Museum is punctuated by small games, investigations and riddles… so that culture becomes child’s play.
- This tour tells the exploits of the gods of ancient mythology. Children discover Medusa the Gorgon struggling with Perseus, the Minotaur, Gilgamesh, the 12 labors of Hercules, or Cerberus the 3-headed dog of the Underworld…

- 20 to 22 participants maximum per tour
- Duration : 1h30
- Meeting point : Passage Richelieu under the arcades outside (do not enter the museum)
- This tour is led by tour guides
- An adult seat is necessarily associated with a child seat

Beau parcours avec un guide exceptionnel avec les enfants (Cyril). Ce n’est pas ma première visite et vos guides sont toujours supers mais là il était juste exceptionnel ( a captivé enfants et parents pendant tout le parcours). Mon fils de 8 ans a encore dit aujourd’hui qu’il avait passé un très bon moment. Il veut revenir au Louvre ! Merci !

La foule, mais on n’y peut rien! Non pas de difficulté au moment de la réservation! Le prix, j’ai 7 petits enfants, je ne peux me permettre de leur offrir cela à une partie d’entre eux par exemple les 5 à 7 ans, il y en a 4!
