“Little Red Riding Hood”, by Joel Pommerat – Thrills guaranteed!
- It’s the true story of Little Red Riding Hood, but written in the beautiful language of Joel Pommerat
- It’s the story of a little girl and her mother who live in a tiny house. The mother works a lot and the little girl is so bored
- “Sometimes the little girl would try to get noticed, but the little girl’s mother was so busy that she didn’t even see her little girl anymore.”
- But what will happen when the little girl has managed to make a cake for her grandmother? When she goes alone into the dark forest among the tall trees? When she will meet this truly monstrous beast?
- It is a show for all audiences, in our opinion for both adults and children. Be careful, we shiver with this wolf, so we do not recommend the play for children under 7 years old
- The performance of the two actresses, Nina Ballester and Nina Cruveiller, is exceptional
- The staging is intelligent, direct and pushes the boundaries between the stage and the audience, between the audience and the actors
- A very strong piece that does not leave you indifferent
La Presse talks about it…
- Provence : “Nina Ballester and Nina Cruveiller, illuminate this tale with a most invigorating feminist touch. They also play with brilliance, precision, panache and interiority. And transforms this tale into a visual and theatrical masterpiece. “
