A great family weekend for the 30th anniversary of La Grande Galerie de l’Évolution!
This year, the Museum of Natural History of Paris has chosen a very special program for a weekend (and even more) for the whole family
On the program of these exceptional days, several highlights have been concocted for young and old and even at night on Saturday until 10 p.m.: thematic visits, workshops, readings and even artistic and theatrical performances!
It is the dodo who will be the guest of honor. A mythical animal, it is the symbol of endangered and extinct species, and will lead us on the permanent tour through the activities of these two superb days
30 years is not nothing! It is so many years of wonder and studies in the service of the living, of knowledge and its protection. The activities are aimed at all ages from 3 years old and some will even be extended throughout the spring.
The Grande Galerie de l’Évolution at the Jardin des Plantes is one of our favorite places in Paris with kids. You can even take advantage of this weekend of activities to go to the menagerie, or to the Children’s Gallery (dedicated to biodiversity) of the Natural History Museum

The shows:
- “Darwin’s Ghost” – all audiences – Saturday at 3 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 11:30 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. – Artistic and musical performance – free access
- “Everyone gets off!” From 8 years old – Saturday and Sunday at 3:30 pm – Play – – reservation at the reception on the day (Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes)
- “The Night of Sleep” – From 5 years old – Saturday at 7 p.m. – Illustrated reading in the presence of Véronique Ovaldé and Aline Zalko, author and illustrator of the children’s tale La nuit du dodo. The reading will be followed by a signing session. Free access – (Duration: 30 min)
