The Sun King’s successors never ceased to embellish the palace. The Palace of Versailles was looted and emptied during the French Revolution (paintings, furniture, knick-knacks, etc.). Versailles became the political capital from 1682 to 1789.

Notre guide Natalina a su captiver nos 2 garçons de 6 et 8 ans tout au long de la visite avec des anecdotes sur l’histoire de Versailles. Elle répondait à toutes leurs questions aussi farfelues soit-elles. Nous la recommandons vivement pour toute visite de Versailles avec des enfants!

Nous avons adoré notre visite et notre guide était super sympa et très intéressante. Le fait d’avoir son numéro de portable personnel a été très pratique!! Tout à fait à recommander surtout pour une première visite du château avec des enfants/ados…
