- This is the first time that the vibrant works of this pioneering Norwegian artist of thenineteenth century can be admired in France
- Known for her magical light effects in rustic interiors and her musical scenes that resonate with softness, Harriet Backer breaks the codes and finds her place in a male-dominated artistic world
- On the program: an immersion in his colorful universe, between paintings of typical Norwegian churches and solitary portraits.
