The Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine is organising an exceptional day free of charge for all, on 18 November, from 11 am to 7 pm.

The day is centred around the museum’s new exhibition: “Subway! Greater Paris on the move

On the programme for this festive day : performances and concerts, workshops for children, conferences for the older ones…

On this day, the museum and all activities are free.

PERFORMANCES AND CONCERTS

  • Slow performance – reversing the relationship to gravity and time around the cutting wheel by Johan Lorbeer
  • 12pm-5pm – Awakening and Mole Parade, a show by Philippe Quesne
  • 12:15 pm and 4 pm – Métrocinémix, cine-concert around the metro by Jean-Yves Leloup
  • 11am-6pm – Guided tours, by Bertrand Bossard & Pierre Hiessler
  • 5:30 pm – Concert of the Moles, a show by Philippe Quesne

WORKSHOPS AND INSTALLATIONS FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES

  • The Imaginary Vehicle – installation by illustrator Elene Usdin
  • Metrolodie – music with materials recovered from construction sites by Playtronica
  • When Suddenly – the story terminal of the future metro by Studio Double
  • 11am-6pm – “The Classes of the Grand Paris Express” – workshop for young people on the world of construction sites from 3 years old
  • 2pm-6pm – Nice metro train! – Design and build your subway car! Family workshops from 4 years old
