- The Picasso-Paris Museum is a member of the Mom’art association, which works to improve the reception and services for families in museums.
The Picasso Museum is organising two festive days for the youngest, around the new presentation of the collections
On the programme : introduction to flamenco, dance visit-workshop, fun visits, workshops and make-up…
Through the Museum’s collections, children aged 3 to 6 and 7 to 12 years old, accompanied, will discover the mysteries of Pablo Picasso’s artistic creation
The program of the family weekend
Participation in the activities is done by registration with the ticket agents 30 minutes before the start of the activity. The start of the activities takes place in the lobby.
In the morning from 10 a.m.
- from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. continuously – all audiences : “Creative capsules” workshop – to try out Picasso’s different creative techniques: drawing in a single line, torn papers, face/profile face (room -1.2)
- from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. non-stop – all audiences : “Récup’ atelier” – with the visual artists of the LaBeL RéCup’ collective, make creations with recycled materials, such as Picasso (Salle Blanche)
- from 10 am to 5 pm continuously – From 3 years old – Children will be made up according to models inspired by the world of Picasso – (Room -1.3)
- From 10 am to 12 pm from 6 years old : Visit workshop “Untangling the brushes” – after exploring Picasso’s portraits in the collections: painting a face according to your inspiration (Levels 1 and 2 + workshop)
- from 10:15 am to 11:45 am – from 6 years old: Dance visit-workshop “Move!” – Led by a mediator and dancer, a fun and joyful exploration of the collections (Levels 1 and 2)
- from 10:30 am to 11:30 am for 3-5 year olds: visit specially designed for the little ones: the processes and characters that populate the painter’s universe and his toolbox (Levels 1 and 2)
- from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. – with the family and from 6 years old – “To the rescue!” – a fun visit where the guide will help the guide to reconstruct the images and texts that have disappeared from the exhibition “Picasso Celebration, The Collection Takes Colors!” (Levels 1 and 2)
- from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm – all audiences – “Introduction to Flamenco dance” with the dancer and choreographer Rubén Molina, to discover an art typical of Spanish culture – (Auditorium, N -1)
In the afternoon from 2 p.m.

- from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm- all audiences – “Introduction to Flamenco dance” with the dancer and choreographer Rubén Molina, to discover an art typical of Spanish culture (Auditorium, N-1)
- from 3 pm to 5 pm – from 6 years old : Visit workshop “Untangling the brushes” – after exploring Picasso’s portraits in the collections: painting a face according to your inspiration (Levels 1 and 2 + workshop)

- From 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. – all audiences: complete visit with a lecturer at the museum’s Collection. an overview of Picasso’s explorations: his theme, his personality, his commitment
