Discovering Pop Art at the Fondation Louis Vuitton
An exhibition that's Pop, Wow, Bang, BoooM!
- "Pop Forever" is a brand new exhibition invites us into the colorful and transgressive world of Pop Art at La Fondation Louis Vuitton, in the heart of Paris. Bois de Boulogne
- On four levels and with over 150 works and installationss, we discover the universe of this vast artistic movement born in the 1960s.
- We learn that Pop Art drew on the codes of popular culture from all over the world, including comics and advertising, as well as cinema, fashion and consumer products.
- Between the acid colors exploding, Coke, chewing gum or Campbell's soup, the powerful images of the tabloid press bring us face to face with the outrageousness of the 20th century and our own 21st century.

- Tom Wesselmann's cut-out panels mingle with iconic silkscreen works byAndy Warhol, the passionate, stereotypical bubbles and kisses of Roy Lichtensteinbut also peas from the extravagant Yayoi KusamaJeff Koons' sculptures or Ai Weiwei's designs!
- Like a transgressive snapshot, "Pop Forever" is a journey through the kitsch decades when pop was married to art.
- In the end, with Tomokazu Matsuyama's works featuring Manga figures, this fascinating exhibition reveals that Pop Art is still very much in vogue!

- 6-24 months – Giant babies" baby course - Gently and sensitively, the Foundation welcomes babies and their parents to the opening, a time of relaxation and awakening - (Duration 45 min.)
- 3-5 years - "Club Pop" story trail - discover the works with a mediator - (duration 1h)
- 6-10 years - "Big & Pop for kids" workshop - After browsing the exhibition, join us in the workshop to play with scale and silhouettes to create a Pop composition (duration 2h30).
- Ages 7 and up - "In Praise of Everyday Life" family tour - discover the works of art with a cultural mediator, a fun tour that involves the body
- 11 - 14 years - "Big & Pop for teens" workshop In the workshop, teams of teenagers play with scales and silhouettes to create a large-scale painting in space, using cut-out panels in the style of Wesselmann.
