Egg hunt in Thoiry Park

The largest egg hunt in Île-de-France is at the Thoiry park

• When : Sunday, March 31 and Monday^{, April 1} , 2024
• Opening hours : from 10 am to 3:30 pm
• Age : for 3-11 years old
• Price : price of the entrance ticket (hunting is offered to children)
• What : 20,000 hidden coloured eggs spread over 50 hectares over two days

The rules of the game are simple:

These are eggs of all colors hidden along the paths of the Park on foot (except for the animal enclosure of course)

• For 3/5 year olds : 4 eggs of different colors to find
• for 6/11 year olds : 8 eggs of different colors to find
• Bonus: large eggs are hidden with surprise prizes!
• Meet at the Camp des Yurtes (until 4 p.m.): to exchange eggs for chocolate

To participate:

• all you need is a day ticket for the Thoiry ZooSafari
• The Egg Hunt is free, on presentation of your entrance ticket for the Thoiry Safari Zoo
• The eggs are hidden only in the area defined on the plan. Indeed, do not enter the animal enclosures!
• The egg hunt is reserved for children, but they must be accompanied by an adult

Animations and surprises:

• Surprises for the animals! For the occasion, the keepers concocted bells filled with fish for the otters, meat juice for the big cats and delicacies for the maki-cattas!
• While walking, it will be time to watch them feast
• For amateurs, real rare eggs will be offered for sale for the benefit of an association for the protection of birds
• You can buy magnificent ostrich eggs, emus eggs and even, for the most collectors, cassowary!
