Edvard Munch, one of the major exhibitions of the year
It is a very large retrospective that the Musée d’Orsay is offering in association with the Munch Museum in Oslo. 40 major paintings, hundreds of drawings to explore 60 years of the artistic creation of Edvard Munch (1863 – 1944).
As we have not yet seen the exhibition, we cannot give you our opinion on this exhibition.
Munch is famous for “The Scream” and the originality of his art which mixes symbolism, primitivism and expressionism.
