On the occasion ofHalloween and All Saints' Day vacationsLa Cueillette du Plessis in Chanteloup-en-Brie (77) offers a great pumpkin-cutting workshop for children aged 5 and over. After choosing their favorite pumpkin from the garden's produce, accompanied by their parents, they'll dig and carve a beautiful, long-lasting pumpkin. scary Jack O'Lantern to take home. The next step is to install a candle to make the magic happen! The whole team will be on hand to give cutting instructions and help you decorate the pumpkin. The activity takes place under shelter, but outdoors.

From April to November, families flock to pick their own fruit and vegetables, and have a great time at the same time, with no quantity restrictions. Following the natural cycle, crops are grown using sustainable agriculture methods.

 The picking area covers 8 ha. More than 50 varieties of fruit, flowers and vegetables are grown here. The season starts in May with spring vegetables and strawberries. Summer is the festival of ratatouille vegetables (tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, onions, zucchinis, etc.) and in September, the 2-hectare orchard opens its doors for apple picking. Autumn vegetables follow, with pumpkins and other cucurbits, leeks, carrots and potatoes.
