The exhibition “The Factory of Time” at the Musée de La Poste is a journey through time!
You will see how La Poste has always been at the heart of time management, making our daily lives more fluid and precise.
Since 1839, thanks to the railway and the telegraph, a single time has been established everywhere and the Post Office has helped synchronize all public clocks
The exhibition offers visitors more than 100 objects that play with time: old clocks, and travel clocks, watches, almanacs from the eighteenth century to the present day…
But also stamps (obviously), philatelic objects and works of mail art
The measurement of time is omnipresent in our daily lives, but here, at the Musée de La Poste, we discover it and reflect on it with humour and poetry. A visit not to be missed for young and old!
