“My first time at the Opera”

• The concept: meeting with opera professionals + visit of the premises + show
• For whom: for families made up of at least one adult and one child, who have never been to the Opera
• Age: from 8 years old
• Price : €25 for adults and €10 for children
• Location: at the Opéra Garnier (Paris 9th) or the Opéra Bastille (Paris 11th)

• Don Quixote, Sunday, March 24 (Opéra Bastille) – From 8 years old

Discover the opera for the 1st time

• To support them in this first experience, the Opera’s teams welcome families before each show concerned (at 5:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. depending on the time of the performance)
• They present the place before the curtain rises
• During this special moment, speakers – opera professionals – talk about their profession and the preparation of the show that will then be given on the main stage
• This operation is offered at the exceptional rate of €25 for adults and €10 for children
• Children (4 maximum) must be at least 8 years old on the date of the performance
• A maximum of 6 places may be granted per family.
• Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis
