One of our favorite places in Paris
THE VILLAGE OF BERCY
It’s a place that we love very much. It is a pleasant and friendly place, pedestrian, therefore safe with children. Shopping, restaurant, cinema, museum with Science Experiences … There are also free outdoor exhibitions all year round, free entertainment for the whole family.
We like:
- the terraces of restaurants and cafes (unfortunately taken by storm as soon as the sun comes out
- The central alley, paved and pedestrian ideal with young children, lined with stone cellars
- the shops (open on Sundays, from 10 am): Fragonard, Home Autour du Monde (decoration), IKKS, Maje, Nature et Découvertes, Oliviers&Co, Rituals, Sephora….
- the UGC Ciné Cité Bercy : a great program of the latest films released (in original or VF)
- the Museum of Fairground Arts, which can be visited during the school holidays and the Science Experience museum open all year round
THE BERCY PARK
- Open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays
- Vast, central, rich in entertainment, the Parc de Bercy is the ideal spot for Sundays in the sun with the youngest.
- Start by warming up on the ping-pong tables, starting a family ball game or letting the children let off steam in one of the playgrounds, unless a daring person tries roller skating on the dedicated track.
- We continue with a picnic on the lawn in the shade of the tall trees
- Then comes the digestive walk in the themed gardens, the rose garden, the mini-labyrinth, and to complete your knowledge or in case of rain, we go to theMaison du jardinage.

IN THE VICINITY OF BERCY
- the restaurant “Les 400 coups” next to the Cinémathèque de Paris (less than 10 minutes walk from the Village de Bercy): good, organic, healthy…
- the Bercy ice rink (covered)
