The Lamoureux orchestra has long offered an original program for toddlers with the “Baby concerts”. It is a real concert, played by a real orchestra for toddlers (for 0-5 year olds). Babies and children become familiar with classical instruments, works and artists. They listen in their parents’ arms, or while walking in the aisles. They can move, make noise, ask for the bottle, sing with the musicians the nursery rhymes that punctuate the concert…
2024 program of the Bébé Concerts:
- January 20th and 21st : Baby Concert NEW YEAR (this concert is based on the one traditionally given in Vienna every year since 1939. Start the year by waltzing with the greatest Viennese composers!) – Théâtre de l’Atelier
- February 3 and 4 : Baby Concert CIRCUS (a program dedicated to circus music) – Théâtre de l’Atelier
- February 10th : Baby Concert FAIRY TALES (around the music of Maurice Ravel) – La Seine Musicale
- March 23 and 24 : Baby Concert CHOPIN’S PIANO – Théâtre de l’Atelier
- 27 and 28 April : Baby Concert OPERA ARIAS (great arias from Carmen, La Traviata and many others!) – Théâtre de l’Atelier
- 25 and 26 May : Baby Concert LES VENTS DANSENT (works by great composers around dance: waltz, polka, tango or ragtime) – Théâtre de l’Atelier
- 15 June : Baby Concert BIRD SONGS (music of bird songs and also breathtaking show tunes for toddlers….) – La Seine Musicale
- 22 and 23 June : Baby Concert GYPSY MUSIC (Embark on a journey to Eastern Europe thanks to traditional music!) – Théâtre de l’Atelier
