In the beautiful district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés
The Luxembourg Gardens in Saint-Germain-des-Prés

A multitude of activities for young and old

  • The Poussin Vert playground : preferably from 10 a.m. to avoid the afternoon crowds. A classic especially with children under 10 years old.
  • Two closed spaces, one for children under 7 years old, another for 7-12 year olds, and about thirty games, from the sandbox to the climbing net and pulley, including slides and other swings. Open every day from 10 am to 7 pm in summer, from 10 am to nightfall in winter.
  • Meanwhile, parents are lounging on the benches on either side of the railings.
  • We continue with the ponies, for the youngest, and/or the remote-controlled boats and sailboats on the large basin.
  • With children under 6 years old, picnic break in the garden of the Orangerie with mini-paddling pools.
  • The older ones will choose the vast lawn extending towards the Observatory.
  • We end the afternoon, depending on the age, with a Guignol session or a game of chess !
  • Dogs are allowed, but only on the edge, between rue Auguste-Comte and boulevard Saint-Michel (and kept on a leash)
