If you are a passionate family or addicted to board games, if you have older children (pre-teens or teenagers), if you are students, these addresses of restaurants and bars in Paris are for you! These are not toy libraries but bistros or restaurants providing their customers with board games. Some are free (you are just asked to consume or eat), others offer a flat rate by the hour to have access to the entire game library.

The Playful Cocoon Nest (in the 3rd arrondissement)

  • 227, Rue Saint-Martin, 75003 Paris
  • Le Nid-Cocon is a fun bar with lots of space (+ 500 games), a Sunday brunch and a shop (so you can test yourself on the spot before buying the game)
  • You can come with your family, even with young children
  • Monday from 5:30 pm to 1 am, Tuesday to Saturday from 12 pm to 1 am, Sunday from 12 pm to midnight
  • PRICE: €3 per person for 2 hours of games, and another drink will be requested after 2 hours

The Wacky (in the 5th)

  • 57, Rue Galande, 75005 Paris
  • Le Loufoque is a friendly and fun bar that offers + 550 games
  • Animators are present on site to assist and help you
  • You can have a drink (soft or not) and have a bite to eat (everything is homemade)
  • You can come with your family, even with young children
  • Tuesday to Thursday from 5 pm to midnight, Friday from 5 pm to 1:30 am, Saturday from 12 pm to 1:30 am, Sunday from 12 pm to 11:30 pm (closed on Mondays)
  • PRICE: €5 per person, for unlimited time

MEiSiA (in the 10th)

  • You can have lunch and dinner there (everything is homemade): vegetarian and vegan menu
  • Any consumption (to drink or eat) unlocks game time (1 hour)
  • Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 a.m., Saturday from 12 p.m. to midnight and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • PRICE: €4 per person and for 1 hour to play

La Revanche (in the 12th)

  • On the plate if you want to have a bite: boards and hot dogs
  • Monday to Friday 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to midnight (closed on Sundays)
  • PRICE: €4 per person + a drink to order (to be renewed every 2 hours)

At the Dés Calés (in the 17th)

  • 17 rue Legendre, 75017 Paris
  • As for the cuisine, a very nice menu with traditional dishes
  • The owner Ludovic, alias Ludo (not even on purpose), passionate about board games and his team welcome you warmly and sympathetically
  • Saturdays are Burger (and games if you feel like it)
  • Every 1st Sunday of each month, after brunch, from 3 p.m., a games animator helps you, advises you and introduces you to new games
  • Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
  • PRICE: the games are available free of charge to guests who come for lunch, dinner or a drink during the day
