- 14 portraits of Maya, scattered all over the world, are exceptionally brought together at the Picasso Museum on the occasion of this magnificent exhibition on her eldest daughter

- With a large selection of archival photos and documents, the exhibition highlights the power of Picasso’s relationship with his daughter

- Children will love the portraits of Maya, the world of childhood. A young audience course is offered to children from 7 to 12 years old with labels specially made for them

- On the occasion of the exhibition “Maya Ruiz-Picasso, Pablo’s daughter”, the Picasso Museum is also presenting 9 exceptional works from the Maya Ruiz-Picasso collection that have just joined the national collections
- 6 paintings, 2 sculptures and a sketchbook, which were kept by Maya, were donated to the museum in 2021 as part of a donation
- The nine works are presented chronologically
- these include the portrait of Picasso’s father made in 1895 by Picasso when he was 14 years old, the “child with the lollipop” dated 1938, the portrait of Maya’s maternal grandmother in 1939, the sculpture “The Venus of Gas” from 1945, a study notebook for “Lunch on the Grass” from 1962, of the head of a man painted in Mougins in 1971 …
