One of the world’s finest collections of vintage planes and automobiles
The Musée des Arts et Métiers is a museum dedicated to science. It houses not only an exceptional collection of vintage planes and automobiles, but also Pascal’s calculating machine and Foucault’s very famous pendulum. The Musée des Arts et Métiers has a real educational dimension and offers very interesting activities for children and teenagers.

Activities for young people
Routes with audio guides for 7-12 year olds
- Audio guides are available for rent at the museum reception (5€) – The tour lasts about 1h30
Individual workshops (for 4 – 14 year olds)
- The workshops allow you to learn how to solve technical problems in the workshop, while discovering the museum’s collections
- 1 workshop for 4-6 year olds and 1 workshop for 7-14 year olds
- The program changes every quarter
Birthday workshops (for 7 to 12 year olds)
- The museum offers really nice birthday workshops with children: treasure hunt, manipulations, visit of the museum…
