Shows, musical and sports activities for children on the program of this “Children’s Chorus” day
- Funk, 80’s Pop, Electro, Boom, Beatbox, Digital Arts, Visual Arts, Song…
- Throughout the day, children will enjoy activities and workshops around music, to dance, mix and experience urban cultures (on hip-hop like in the 80’s or arcade games)
- In addition to the continuous activities and workshops, 8 shows for young audiences with poetic and colourful universes will be performed
- With Pascal Parisot in concert, PiXMiX – the Electro Boom!
- The Chorus experience extends even beyond the shows with animations on the forecourt and in the Seine Musicale – This year’s theme will be “The Olympic Games” with the super funny games!
Continuous animations:
- XXL Olympic course as part of the 2024 Olympic Games, with the climbing wall, the Giant Target Foot – Human Table Foot and the Basketball power 4
- “Crazy Mixing” workshops : with the “Fablab” to listen to the strange sounds contained in the objects around us – musical workshop “Circuit Robot” or – sound and musical creation – accessible to toddlers
- Disco course in an inflatable playground with light shows and integrated music
- Retro arcade machines for Kids
- Exhibition of old toys and photos
- Workshops to raise awareness of sustainable development with a mini-vegetable garden, selective sorting and ecological merry-go-round
- Glitter and makeup booth with eco-friendly glitter made from plants for a festive and colorful atmosphere;
The morning program:
✔️ 09:45 am – Petite Seine – A Philo-Musical cinema show – “La Vie est Belle” – Cyril Catarsi & Zoé Marguaritte – from 3 years old – (Duration 35 min.)
A Philo-Musical cinema show that retraces the major stages of life with Cell, a mischievous little cell. Projected on a big screen and accompanied by musicians-actors. A poetic fresco for all, young and old, full of philosophy and not without twists and turns!
✔️ 10:30 am – Riffx – concert – “The Best of Pascal Parisot” – from 4 years old – (Duration 50 min.)
With Jacques Tellitocci and Pascal Colomb, Pascal Parisot goes to a gala with his costume and everything he has written for children! It will probably be funny, certainly poetic, no doubt rhythmic, every time joyful!
✔️ 11:30 am – Petite Seine – Concert-ciné – “Versant Vivant – Emilie Tarascou & Simon Kansara” – from 5 years old – (Duration 45 min.)
A sensitive and contemplative musical show, where electro-acoustic compositions and a whole variety of visual manipulations performed live are intertwined. Simon creates melodies with the help of a dozen instruments that wonderfully accompany Émilie’s drawing.
✔️ 11:30 am – Auditorium – “Yūrei” – Dance, music, beatbox and digital arts – from 7 years old – (Duration 50 min.)
When the tribal meets the digital, from the origins to the future, for a journey rhythmic to the sound of beatbox and its frenzied deformations.
The afternoon’s program:
✔️ 3pm – Petite Seine – “Ladylike Lily – The Forgotten Seeds” – Shadow theatre – from 5 years old – (Duration 45 min)
Feminist ecologist; a musical tale imagined by the visual artist and multi-instrumentalist Ladylike Lily: a playground, a space of freedom, of demand, full of poetic wonder
✔️ 3:20 pm – Auditorium – “The Big Bad Fox and other tales” – Cine-concert – from 6 years old – (Duration 85 min)
Winner of the César Award for Best Animated Film in 2018, The Big Bad Fox is a film to put in everyone’s hands, even the greatest! There are particularly restless animals, a Fox who thinks he is a Hen, a Rabbit who acts like a Stork and a Duck who wants to replace Santa Claus. Adapted from a comic book by Benjamin Renner – Accompanied live by an orchestra of 9 musicians
✔️ 2pm – Riffx – “PiXMiX – La Boum Electro” – Dj set for children – from 6 years old – (Duration 75 min)
PiXMiX is a DJ set for children, halfway between a party and a blind test. The party is participatous: each child votes to choose the style of the next sound. A kind of giant game for young and old dedicated to the dancefloor and the discovery of electro in all its diversity!
✔️ 4:20 p.m. – Riffx – “La Boum – des Boumboxeurs” – a party for young and old – from 6 years old – (Duration 60 min)
For young and old, a party to let off steam, to funky music ranging from KRS-One, George Clinton, Jackson Five and Kriss Kross. Expect to let go: this party is a series of explosive animations to get people moving no matter your age, all to the sound of fresh, groovy air!
