The Grand Palais Immersive is an exhibition space nestled in the heart of the Opéra Bastille.
After “Venice Revealed” – and “Eternal Mucha”, “Loading” is an immersive exhibition where you will discover the walls of the world. Urban art like you’ve never seen it before… in Montreal, Paris, Egypt or Norway!
“LOADING. Urban art in the digital age at the Grand Palais Immersive ” is an exhibition that targets our time and immerses us in new digital experiences.
In the shoes of a street artist
- It’s a very beautiful exhibition that reveals a new vision of the world
- Thanks to an immersive 360° video, we are immediately immersed in the art of 5 street artists located in the four corners of the world
- Full of surprises, interactive experiences and original musical creation, urban art reveals itself in a different way
- We learn how street art was born in thetwentieth century: from the first artists in New York, the taggers of the 1990s, to the large eco-responsible frescoes seen from the sky with drones and … “Vandal” graffiti
- Often bearers of strong messages, peace or whistleblowers for the environment, we discover all the facets of street artists
- Amateurs will recognize the creations of well-known artists such as Vhils, Saype and Rache and Joseph Kyselak
- Visitors can step into the shoes of a graffiti artist, by participating in an interactive experience where each written or tagged message is projected on a mega screen from a touch tablet
- New experiences, an immersive universe where dimensions and spatial boundaries are abolished! It’s an extraordinary journey into the world of street art
- An ideal outing with children from 7 to 12 years old and teenagers

- From January 15, one Monday per month at 7 p.m. – Street Dance Workshops: Danced encounters with Mohamed Second Souffle, hip hop dancer
- From 7 years old – Sundays, excluding holidays and public holidays, at 2 p.m. guided tours with a lecturer from the RMN are offered to parents and children – duration 1 hour
- GAME BOOKLETS to download from the website for child readers: Treasure hunts, quizzes, coloring pages… Fun and informative booklets to slip into your children’s hands during or after the exhibition!
- Educational booklets designed to master the codes of urban art
