On Saturday, June 29, the Pernod Ricard Corporate Foundation is offering a free and original workshop for teenagers around the creation of fanzines. The Fanzine workshop led by the artist Mélody Lu is designed as a mirror of the current exhibition “Crumbling the Antiseptic Beauty”. The workshop offers a reflection on the notion of collective creation and allows young people to meet the artists who make the creativity of the contemporary scene.
Self-published fanzines appeared in the early 30s in the United States. Initially conceived by Science Fiction enthusiasts, the practice of fanzines then extended to comics and poetry, becoming an alternative means of distribution accessible to all.
During this Fanzine workshop, participants are invited to form small groups in order to create their fanzine on the theme of their choice.
