Reliving the Middle Ages with children, ideas in Paris or the Paris region

The 39th Médiévales de Provins will be held on June 1 and 2, 2024 in the medieval city of Provins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Considered the largest medieval festival in France, it attracts thousands of visitors every year

On the program: parades in costume, knights’ tournaments, street performances, dances and medieval music.

For the highlights: the traditional medieval ball on the Place du Châtel, a large concert and the famous Sunday parade with about 700 participants in period costumes!

A bit like at the time of the great fairs of Thibaud of Champagne in the twelfth century

In addition to the entertainment, the Médiévales de Provins also offer a large market with more than 300 craftsmen and merchants coming to present their products and ancestral know-how…

From surprise to surprise, between fairies, troubadours, knights and fire-eaters, not to mention traditional games, all the ingredients are there for children to spend a great weekend of shows with their families!
