The fun visit “When I grow up, I will be a knight”
Beautiful armor, shields, helmets, tournaments… The image of the knight is a dream. But is it true? Who were the knights? How did one become one? It wasn’t easy, it required a long apprenticeship!
From the Galopin to the knighting, your children will discover, activity booklet in hand, each step of this learning, but also the modes of protection, the different offensive and defensive weapons. They will also learn many “technical” words before discovering the evolution of weaponry through the centuries.
Clearly something to show off to friends, or “get” a great note in history, seemingly insignificant, borderline effortlessly. We bet that you, parents, will also learn many things.
A tour of the Army Museum, one of the richest collections of weapons in Europe, for a journey through time in the company of Excalibur, Joyeuse, Balmung, King Arthur, Lancelot, Roland, François 1er… and many other famous objects and people. An exciting tour suitable for children from 8 to 14 years old.
