What to do for Halloween with the family?
An activity that children will love!
On the occasion of Halloween and the All Saints’ Day holidays, La Cueillette de la Grange (77) offers a great pumpkin carving workshop for children from 3 years old. After choosing their favourite squash from the garden’s production, the accompanied children will dig and prune a beautiful and scary Jack O’Lantern that they will take home. It will then be a question of installing a candle so that the magic happens! The whole team will be there to give the cutting instructions and guide you to decorate the pumpkin. And to accompany all this creativity, the Cueillette de La Grange offers all participants a glass of delicious apple juice!

- Price : €11.50 per workshop per child (The price includes the pumpkin, a candle, a colouring book and a glass of freshly squeezed apple juice)
- Adult rate : free for the accompanying adult
- Materials provided : pumpkin + a candle + utensils
- A little advice : remember to take warm clothes that are not afraid of being dirty
- Mandatory presence of a parent for the duration of the workshop for children under 12 years old
La Cueillette de la Grange (77)
It is an educational cueuillette located in the south-east of Paris, but also a stone’s throw from the magnificent Château de Vaux le Vicomte (10 Kms)!
From April to November, families flock to pick fruit, vegetables and flowers while having a good time, without quantity constraints. By following the natural cycle, the crops are the result of sustainable agriculture.
At the end of winter and until November 30, families flock to discover the fields and pick strawberries, tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes, cabbage, zucchini, beans, peas, apples, raspberries, plums, cherries, etc…… More than fifty varieties are available.
La Cueillette de La Grange is part of the “Straw Hat” network, for “eco-responsible” agriculture: promotion of natural diversity, education and management of water resources

- Opening days: every day from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2:30 pm to 7 pm
- An unguarded car park is located near the entrance
- Dogs not allowed (except service dogs)
The pickings? How does it work?
Participation in the collection is free. Simply come to the site, we will provide you with all the necessary materials. And as if to find the true taste of the products: it is important to respect the rhythm of the seasons, so … No tomatoes in December, and a winter closure on November 30.
