Come in disguise!
On the occasion of Halloween and the All Saints’ Day holidays, La Cueillette du Plessis in Chanteloup-en-Brie (77) offers a great pumpkin carving workshop for children from 5 years old. After choosing their favourite squash from the garden’s production, the accompanied children will dig and prune a beautiful and scary Jack O’Lantern that they will take home. It will then be a question of installing a candle so that the magic happens! The whole team will be there to give the cutting instructions and guide you to decorate the pumpkin. The activity takes place under cover but in the open air.

30 minutes from Paris: Chanteloup-en-Brie picking (77)
It is one of the most famous educational cueuils around Paris,
From April to November, families rush to pick fruit and vegetables while having a pleasant time, without any constraint on quantity. By following the natural cycle, the crops are the result of sustainable agriculture.
The harvest covers an area of 8 hectares. More than 50 varieties of fruits, flowers and vegetables are grown here. The season starts in May with spring vegetables and strawberries. During the summer, it’s the festival of ratatouille vegetables (tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, onions, zucchini, …) and in September, the 2-hectare orchard opens its doors for apple picking. Autumn vegetables are followed by pumpkins and other cucurbits, leeks, carrots and potatoes.
La Cueillette de Chanteloup-en-Brie is part of the “Straw Hat” network, for an “eco-responsible” agriculture: promotion of natural diversity, education and management of water resources
