Pumpkin workshop + farm tour
On the occasion of Halloween and the All Saints’ Day holidays, the Open Farm of Gally Saint-Denis offers “pumpkin digging” workshops to children from 3 to 12 years old. After choosing a pumpkin, the children will watch the hat being cut out by an animator. Once made, it will be a question for the children, independently, to hollow out the pumpkin to empty it and to sculpt a head (the eyes, nose and mouth of the pumpkin…). Jack O’Lantern, scary or not, everything will be done in joy with an attentive and patient host. Before or after the workshop, parents and children will be able to visit and walk around the Open Farm of Saint-Denis

- Adult rate : €5.10 (entrance + supervision of the pumpkin workshop)
- Equipment provided : pumpkin + utensils (you can bring your own utensils)

- A little tip : remember to bring markers to decorate the pumpkin
- Mandatory presence of a parent for the duration of the workshop
The Open Farm of Saint-Denis
It is one of the most famous educational farms around Paris, one of the oldest too. Families flock there on Wednesdays or weekends to meet the animals, buy the vegetables and fruit produced on site, but also take part in workshops and educational visits
Here, at the Open Farm, you can discover the farmer’s know-how, the agricultural techniques of yesterday, today and tomorrow… and even make bread! A route has been created to visit the educational farm in peace, to explore the various market gardening areas and to meet the goats, sheep, chickens, horses and donkeys, pigs and rabbits.
The animals are fed around 5:30 p.m. Children love to attend.

Prices for the farm visit
The ticket gives access to a self-guided tour of the farm: It is the last vegetable farm in Ile de France. It is always an opportunity for the youngest to learn more about agricultural techniques.
Children and parents will discover goats, sheep, chickens, horses and donkeys, pigs and rabbits.
